Fluke - Bluefish Tournament Winners
Official Weigh-In Station: TUCKERTON SEAPORT

The 18th Annual Sunshine Foundation Fluke and Bluefish Tournament was a great success. Over 300 people attended the awards ceremony at the Tuckerton Seaport where there was lots for the kids to do. It was a great family event for a great cause. The all volunteer Southern Ocean County Chapter of the Sunshine Foundation was able to sponsor two local children this year. The weigh in was slow for the first hour and then some very nice sized fish were weighed in.

FLUKE

First place fluke: Wayne King on the King Cobra with a two fish total of 14.87 pounds. Wayne also took top honors for the largest fluke at 8.74 pounds.

Second place fluke: Joe Daunoras on Quality Time had a two fish total weight of 10.08 pounds just edging out the third place finisher.

Third place fluke: Jason Ruwa on the Kathleen with a weight of 10.01 pounds.

BLUEFISH
First place bluefish: There were not a lot of bluefish weighed in and first place went to Frank Burg II on Smokey's Boy's with a two fish total weight of 3.47 pounds and the largest blue at 2.05 pounds.

Second place bluefish: Joe Ryan on the Miss D3 took 2nd with a total weight of 2.53 pounds.

There was no third place bluefish and the kayak division did not have a weigh in either.

A huge thanks to all the local businesses who supported this event to raise money for the Southern Ocean County Chapter of the Sunshine Foundation to fulfill the dreams of seriously ill children.
